Basic HTML Coding To Improve Search Engine Ranking

In my previous article about 9 Basic SEO checklist for beginner, I did write in point form and did not explain in details. so I'll be explaining one by one in few articles, so that you can refer one by one in details on how to improve search engine ranking for your blog.

How To Add HTML Coding Into Blog Post

Basically HTML coding can be done easily. Quoted from previous post :

(i.e. H1, h2, h3, Alt text, Bold, Underline, Italic, etc.)

1) H1, H2, H3
This can be done by adding H1 tag for sub-title within your blog post. I.e. " < /h1 > Text < /h1 >".
Between, < /h1 >has the biggest size and follow by < /h2 >and < /h3 >. Normally I'll only use < /h3 > for my sub-title, that's mean you're telling GoogleBot that the title is important.

2) Alt Text For Image
This "alt" can be added into your image, you can fill in the description for the image. So when people search some images that related with your description for the image, they found your image and your blog as well.

3) Bold, Underline and Italic
This can be done by bold, underline or italic your keywords within the post, but don't over do this, it can make your post messy. Reasonable optimization will be the best for both readers and also Google.

My 2 Cents

By optimize your page with the above steps, it can slightly improve your search engine ranking. We call it on-page optimization, means that you're optimizing your blog within your page. I'll be explaining more about it in coming post as well. Bear in mind, on-page optimizing is only one part of search engine optimization, we still have a lot tutorial to go, but make sure you build up fresh and good content, because Google consider content is everything.
